G+_Gregg Ordon
WATER COOLING PC HELP. As I await the arrival of my new custom PC. I am giving thinking about experimenting with water cooling. Any suggestions from people who have done it on what to get and what to look for. Seems to be a wide variety of good stuff and crap out there. Also post photos of your own rigs if you can. G+_610GARAGE
Does a video count. :) I would suggest not watercooling unless you want to play. Heatpipe heatsinks work quite well. I would suggest the waterblocks I use, but Danger Den went out of business. :( But you may still be able to find a few.
G+_Scott W
I agreee with 610bob. Water cooling can be a real PITA to maintain. I was one of the first people to manufacture water cooled heatsinks in the early 90's. ( I was coolchip.com ) I later sold out to the competition. Swiftech makes some good turn key systems. Or as 610bob suggests, heatpipes work really well.
G+_Steve Martin
Water cooling has come a long ways, but it still pretty much only for those considering full time overclocking of their CPU's. I have a system built up with a Corsair case and CPU water cooling. Bare in mind that if you want to do this with a system that is already built (you said yours is on the way) then you have to be really sure you have the space for it in your case. Water cooling means adding a block of fans which will transfer the heat from the water. Also the pipes and cooler will mean space is needed for those near the motherboard. I'd recommend this as a part of the original design rather than an add on after the system is built.
