I'm currently a Google play music all access subscriber but I keep hearing about Spotify and i just downloaded and it looks so similar to all access that I don't know why is all the rambling about it, am I missing something it's there a feature that I don't know about that helps Spotify get over the top, so far I think I'm gonna stick to all access what you guys think?

Last time I checked out Spotify, the desktop version would add your local playlists from things like iTunes to your Spotify account. In a way that is integrating your own music but they have to have the songs in their library. I doesn't have you upload music they do not have.

Google needs to implement what Spotify have done... With apple radio being free for their customers I do believe that google needs to enter the market that wld unify music and movies with a subscription that cld possibly take on net flex

I moved to All Access from Spotify.  Spotify works very nice and I think it was easier to find currated playlists and your friends.  It has a greater social media portion.

All Access allows you to upload your own music, which is the sole reason I moved.  If I did not have an existing library then I would have stuck with Spotify.

All Access needs some work, but it is getting there.  I wish it were as intuitive and as easy to use as spotify.  There are some odd issues I get every now and then, and the player is slow to load when I first open it.

I just moved to Spotify from All Access. I like the playlists in Spotify better and found music discovery better. The auto playlists in All Access just did nothing for me - none of the recent changes in All Access playlists seem to be available here in Australia.

It also seems a lot easier to add a song I like to my library in Spotify and I can cache them onto my phone if I want to save data, just like All Access.

You don't have to pay for all access to upload to Google, but then your music wouldn't be in one place. Any song Google has in their library, doesn't count against your Google Drive storage. I have all access, but have never used Spotify.?

If being cheap is your goal.

I currently have 20k songs uploaded to Google Play Music. I signed up for a YouTube Music Key beta (free for 6 mo.), which came with a free All Access account. There's literally nothing I can't listen to anytime I want. Songza was a brilliant acquisition on Google's part. Their curated lists (yes, even among obscure artists/composers) are excellent for discovery.
