G+_?ukasz M
Is there any software that can create fake i.e. computer generated web traffic from my PC so that MITM cannot distinguish those two?
G+_Eddie Foy
More info. MItM is a broad statement. Typically a MITM will get everything. Trying to overload it? like security through obscurity? If you have been MITM'd fake traffic is NO solution. Fake traffic, unless done right, can be spotted by a crafty hacker. User agents, and reply headers would have to be done right. If you are faking CNN.com traffic while you are at bankofamerica.com which traffic you think the hacker will focus on? Wireshark has great filters. G+_?ukasz M
OK so that's not a good way to stay safe but at least you can trick advertisers , keep them overinformed or misinformed in some part, am I right?
G+_Eddie Foy
There is a browser plug in that will just (in the background) click on every ad on a page. Basically just gives them pretty erroneous back to the trackers/advertisers. I think its called ad-nausuim
