G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
It was all about the Hippo, the Hippo, the Hippo.. all about the Hippo, the Hippo, THE HIPPO! cc: Bryan Burnett
G+_Ben Reese
I was glad to hear you mention static routing as an option for expanding the network. If it's setup correctly, it could help improve the performance of the network as well and wouldn't always have to hurt it. For example, if all the systems you needed to access were on the same router as you, the traffic would seldom have to cross over to the other side. And, of course, it's great to have the Hippo back! His race sounds awesome!
G+_Cory Albrecht
Ben Reese Though the network engineer in me wants to nitpick about calling it "bridged" like he did. Bridging is when you take two ports that would normally be on separate broadcast domains and combine them into one domain like a set of switchports. Bridging and routing are two different things. :-)
G+_Ben Reese
Cory Albrecht? I agree, but I think some errors are glazed over just to keep the the show rolling.
