I placed an order for readytoflyquads last week and emailed the guy 2 days ago. My order status has not updated and I've got no information about what's going on. Some advice would be nice on what to do about my situation. He has taken my money and not relayed to me. Is it a scam?

Definitely not a scam. The owner runs the place on his own i think, im sure he's swamped. Maybe send him another email as well. I've heard good things and bad things about his shop, but never that he outright scams customers. 

I've never ordered from him, but users in this group have. Maybe someone will chime in.

More then happy to take my money not so happy to reply to my email. Im all for the "things take time" but reply to your emails. If you cant handle the orders then stop taking them or hire someone else to give a hand. Its not a $2 ESC, my order was $250. For 250 I think you should reply to my email. Its been more then  week and I have waited nicely. Now I want to know whats going on..

Tim Dickinson It can take 1 to 2 weeks to ship your order depending on what is on your order. If it is parts(no flight controler) it should ship in a week. If you have a flight controler on it then it can take a little longer to ship. Each flight controller needs to be programed with the options that you selected when ordering. You will get an email stating that it has shipped. Paul has allot of great items at a great price but he is not as quick getting parts shipped as other sources.  Well worth the wait though.

Honestly, none of the retailers for multicopter parts are that great. Most of the time you pay a huge premium for retailers that ship fast and have good support. Order extra parts, because most of the time you'll be waiting weeks for replacements. Maybe it's just because amazon prime has me spoiled at this point..

When I built my quad, i ordered from 4 different countries to get all the parts i needed at the prices i wanted.

 

Also, with the Chinese New Year coming up soon, be prepared for all of your Chinese shipments to take twice as long.

I waited one week before I send Paul Baxter an email about my order.Then I waited one more week before sending another email. Its been 2 and a half weeks since my first email. I have not received any reply nor has my status changed from "Processing". Carson Black From what you're telling me is that you ordered something after me and have received your shipping information before me. That leaves me to wonder if there is a problem with my order. Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ is not responsible nor did I say he was, but I would like some advice on the situation.
