Really serious issue

Really serious issue .. well .. potentially.   Earlier this year purchased a Nexus5 .. great phone .. love it .. but one thing is not working.  It is not registered as a device.  I can pull down apps from the phone but can not push from the play store .. the bigger issue is I go to ADM to do a find my phone and nothing .. My N7 is there .. my MotoX.. thats a work phone but I signed in with G account to get some apps .. even my old G2 which was also a work phone before the Motox.

I got as far one time as calling Google .. the guy had no idea what the problem was so he said he'd have level 2 (or whatever he called them) call me and that never happened (maybe that python script was offline?).  I love Google but lets face it .. customer service sucks .. and you have to wonder if they care at all.  N5 is a great phone at a great price but if you don't have to support it ..... maybe the price is understandable.  I do not like Apple but as my son-in-law pointed out he would have gone into the Apple store by now and gotten it fixed .. and I have to say he is most likely right.

Any of you have any idea what I might do to get this working? I sorta feel like this is a feature that was sold to me and I did not get .. any other company I would be talking to Customer service to get it fix .. oh wait .. ya ... none of that at Google..

Mark Stronge It is easy to do but still it takes time to set up a handset how you want it etc & there's lots of things that get lost if not careful.

Hell, even with all my years experience with Mobile Phones (I repair them for a living) I still make mistakes & always forget to back something up when I reflash my handset.
