G+_Carlton Dodd
Update on my ZMR250 build. Getting close! Originally shared by Carlton Dodd Got most of my ZMR250built tonight. I need to hook up the ESC control lines and BEC, then finish the frame and start programming everything to work properly. I made a lot of choices to keep parts re-usable, since I'm new to this, and there's a high probability some parts will end up in another project some day. Also, I'm not worried too much about weight because I'm not looking to race this quad. It's basically a build learning tool to see what self-built quads are like. It may end up being an FPV learner, if it lasts that long. I need to find a non-destructive way to unhook three of the BECs (right?). I think I'll also use the zip-tie and heat-shrink antennae mounting method. Any tips from the experienced builders out there?
