G+_DTJ W315
Quick vid from my new G-2D gimbal and my gopro on my 450 quad. I'm using a a hero 1 and the gimbal is calibrated for a hero 3 which is lighter, so a few days adjusting and tweaking and now it works great. Finally made it above the tree line which I have limited space to do and without POV it makes me nervous, which you can tell from the rough decent, but despite how it looks, I didn't crash. The light was fading, but am still happy with my first actual flight footage and loving that I managed the pan/sweep shot at the beginning :)

G+_DTJ W315
Wayne Hobbins Thanks for the tip on the gutters lol As for the Vortext state, I figured what was causing it, but didn't know it was called that, so thanks for the link. Basically, I tend to panic a little and, with LOS and it being right above me, it's hard to gauge it's descent rate and I come down way too fast....and the wobbly vortex kicks in. I'm working on slower more controlled descents and hopefully will get it right in time - or learn the techniques to recover from it :)
