G+_Philip Oberg
I recently got a syma xc5 to learn how to fly like was suggested on the show. Yesterday it stopped working without any warning really. Sure I have crashed it obviously but nothing really bad I think. Everything is in good condition, the battery in the quad and the batteries in the controller are both charged. When I turn on the XC5, instead of the lights flashing they are just solid with no flashing. Then I arm the remote and nothing happens. The lights dont do anything, just remain on. Any help i can get is really awesome I was just getting the hang of it! ?
G+_Jonathan Schober
Thats not good. Try resetting setting it by pairing the controller, then bringing both sticks to the bottom right
G+_Philip Oberg
Jonathan Schober tried that and nothing happens still lights on with no flashing
G+_Jonathan Schober
Thats sad. I would get a new one.... Like I recently posted, I fried mine with 11.1V. I'm going to also buy another.
G+_Wayne Black
By arm the remote, do you mean "factory reset" by putting both sticks down to the lower right corner? Still no flashing lights? If that doesn't work, start looking for loose wires inside. It's odd that you are getting power to the board, indicated by the leds on. I've been fortunate in that I originally bought 2 Symas and thought I would need the second for parts, but the thing just keeps running!

G+_Jason Perry
I dont have a syma but my control and the guts look the same. Took me re reading the instructions once or twice to notice the control had to be on before I powered the quad up
G+_Philip Oberg
Jonathan Schober the other thing I am unsure of... Could this only be a battery issue? I only have one battery
