G+_Jason Brown
I'm using a Netgear ProSafe VPN Firewall SRXN3205 at home. I've been racking my brain trying to get the VPN to work. I've tried Shrew VPN and the built-in VPN clients in Windows and Linux, but I just can't get a connection. Does anyone have any experience with these devices? G+_Brian Moses
Have you reviewed the manual? downloads.netgear.com - www.downloads.netgear.com/files/SRXN3205_RM_27Jan2010.pdf
G+_Jason Brown
So many times I could quote it. The one thing I keep running into seems to indicate I needed a specific Netgear vpn client that can only be gotten with a license that comes with the unit. But I've never found a "yay verily it will not work with other clients." Unfortunately, this is an eBay purchase, so finding that client has been difficult. There are other clients from Netgear, but they don't work either. I have 3 of these units, and none of them will permit a connection.
G+_Jason Brown
They were all cheap and have gigabit lan and wan ports. So for the price, I'm still happy with them.
