G+_Grant Garofalo
My iPad 2 is not long for this world, which I'm taking as a sign that it's finally time to go all Android all the time. I've looked all over the Internet, and there seems to be a few obvious choices, but I wanted to ask the AAA community just in case there's another option hiding somewhere. What would people recommend as far as pdf viewers for large, image intensive, files? I play tabletop RPGs and most of my books are in pdf form. I have both ezPDF and RepliGo, but neither of those load pages nearly fast enough (I use GoodReader on my iPad, which loads pages extremely fast.) G+_Roy Delgado
I use ezPDF myself and have no issues. However I can also recommend Office Suite 7 PDF and FoxIt. OS7 renders quickly and does much more than just PDF. Good luck!
G+_Santos Cardona
Depends on the device. Don't do much reading on my newer devices (Nexus 7 2012 and S3). Repligo and Ez pdf work fine but Mantano was the fastest for me on my Toshiba Thrive. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mantano.reader.android. ?I am sure that higher end devices would have no problem with pdfs. G+_George Fromtulsa
If you go Android, try the free ones before spending money. The Kindle Reader will open PDFs, and display them nicely. QuickOffice will. And depending on what brand of Not-an-Apple-Pad you buy, there may be pre-installed and capable programs.
