Just found out today that Play Music Family plan isn't available for Google Apps for Work including the domain plans (family) that became the Free/Grandfathered Google Apps for Work doesn't have the offer with no comments from Google. If one of you can ask at IO (Pretty Please) for them to change that - Oh and yeah, we don't have Google Spaces to try out either as we're currently excluded from that. Thanks!!!

Chris, I set this up years ago for my family, long before we used Android, it wasn't called for work at the time, that is more recent. It was sold as great for families, churches, groups, etc. Now these accounts have our Google play music movies, apps, etc. There is no path to turn them into non work accounts so we'd lose years and tons of content. Does that make sense, many of us are in the same boat, we followed Google's guidance at the time, now we seem punished for doing that-unless we want to dump our domains, our Play investments, and our account history. Does that make sense?

I think I'd be asking for a way to migrate my purchases away from that mess or bite the bullet and use Takeout for everything else.

Chris, up to know I've been annoyed that things come later to Domain users, Spaces will come, then 2 years from now when the next thing Googs releases to replace that comes out, it too will come to us. I like new and shiny but can live with delays for our family (7 users on our domain), maybe complain a little. But the Play Music Family news, I was looking to do that just a little down the road, I couldn't believe it's not available. I can do it as an individual (as I understand), I can buy movies, TV Shows, Books, everything else. Why would this be excluded? We don't even necessarily want it for the music as much as for the You Tube Red side of it - this I don't get. I'll have to look closer at Takeout (wasn't aware of it until you just referenced it) but it doesn't seem to include Movies, Music or Newstand where we've spent more money than we should have and would lose. We could create new accounts with generic e-mails and double up our calendars, and such, but hate to do that and really feel we shouldn't. On your other thought apparently many people have been asking for a way to migrate accounts/purchases but have had no response. Outside of that I love that our family has the ease of use of being a Domain, just hate that we are among thousands of Google fans are getting treated this way. Oh well, thanks for your thoughts and hopefully things move forward!

John Stacy I am fond of the YouTube Red experience. I wonder if the Family Payment Method is proving to be an issue for grandfathered family domains. I almost wish you could do the Family plan without it as my son occasionally buys things without looking at his payment method, and I get an email and then text him. "I want my TWO DOLLARS" (bonus points for getting the movie reference)

I wish you guys luck in getting the goodies. Keep fighting. It's like "please take my money Google" shouldn't have to be said.
