G+_Adam EL-Idrissi
Pretty sure I horked my router.maybe. it's a Asus rt-n16.i used their restoration utility to flash tomato shibby on it that worked but couldn't get an Internet connection through. Flashed the newest Asus firmware and I can get to the login when I go to the router ip but it says the user and pass aren't right. Factory is admin/admin. Tried that and admin/password, asus/asus,asus/password,password/password, username/password and my previous configured password.nothing works. Any ideas? G+_Adam EL-Idrissi
Thank you Reed Hanson. Luckily it was previously updated to the latest firmware when it came out in September. I did have that issue though, clicking check for update in the Web gui. I did the 30/30/30 wps button nvram reset/clear. I have tomato on it,need to get an updated firmware on though. Unfortunately I can't afford it to be down again for a couple weeks. I should have a new router before turn though.
G+_Paul Simard
Just a thought. Once the router BIOS is flashed, try the he reset button pressing for several seconds. It should clear any detritus preventing login using the manuf'rs admin passwords until you reconfigure.
