G+_Adam EL-Idrissi
I did some looking online and there seems to be a site for ssl certs from everyone, their mother, the dog, cat and the ants in the back yard. I'm looking for someone that I can buy a ssl cert from for my site. Do you guys have any recommendations? Not comodo or godaddy.
G+_Adam EL-Idrissi
Wayne Hobbins well they just want all my business. Haha. Any recommendations that are worth it now?
G+_Victoria Holowiski
I bought mine from Namecheap, and I'm happy with it. I've previously used a free cert from https://www.startssl.com/ (they're so awesome their site is down for maintinence right now!) and it was fine as well, but a bit more work to set up. If you can wait until "Mid-2105", there's always Let's Encrypt https://letsencrypt.org/ which promises free basic certs.
G+_Nick Whitworth
Get a free cert from StartSSL until Let's Encrypt launches in a few months. If a DV cert isn't enough for you, Steve Gibson on Security Now really likes DigiCert (https://www.digicert.com/). Their certs are pretty competitively priced I hear.
