G+_Tucker Drake
I know that this has been covered on more than a few TWiT shows, but I can't remember which ones, so I'm hoping there's somebody out there who's got a better memory of things than I do and can point me in the right direction. I remember someone talking about an online animation program where the user only needed to be able to use a web browser (basically) to use the program. The characters were largely pre-made for you, and were in a style similar to those from South Park (i.e. simple circles were the basis for the characters, and they weren't terribly sophisticated). There was also a site which had synthetic voices. You could pick any number of characteristics for the voices, and they would recite what you wanted in a voice which sounded more human than Stephen Hawking's, but with little to no emotion in the words. G+_Tucker Drake
Todd Miller That's not the site I'm thinking of (or if it is, they've changed the animation style dramatically). The one I'm thinking of, didn't have any human-type looking characters (outside of the vague South Park kinda shapes one sees). Of course, my memory might be playing tricks on me, or they might have dramatically improved things since I last looked at it. (The name of the site does seem familiar, I will admit.)
