G+_Todd Bradstrum
Quadcopter won't arm! Hi guys I'm having problems with my RTF Quads 250 build ( the Know How kit). The problem I an having is that my quad won't arm when I move the left joystick to the bottom right (Unless it's connected to my PC with the Windows GUI. Is the green light on the fligh controller supposed to be on normally? The green light is on when I am connected to the PC but off if I am not. So when I power up the quad (without PC) I get a red light and that goes away when I turn on the transmitter. But it won't arm. I have a Fly Sky transmitter and receiver and a 2200 mah 11.1v 3 cell battery. When I am in the GUI the quad will arm. All the sticks seem to work correctly. Min/Max on the throttle is 1014/2012. I did try calibrating the ACC. That didn't help. All motors rotate in the right direction. Any help would be appreciated. I don't have a USB cable long enough to fly my quad!!! G+_Scott W
When you are in the WinGUI in the RC Control Settings, are any of the boxes Green in the ARM row? For example, if the Box under AUX1 H is Green, the switch on your transmitter that is configured for AUX1 would need to be in the High setting. Or if any boxes are green, just uncheck them so a switch does not need to be set to ARM.
G+_Todd Bradstrum
Thanks for the responses. I checked the sensors per Wayne's suggestion here doesn't seem to be a problem there. Also I wen to RC control per Scott's comment and there is nothing in green in any of the rows.
G+_Scott W
Just as a reference, The green light on my Flip 1.5 only comes on when the USB is plugged in. Maybe reflash the firmware.
G+_Todd Bradstrum
OK thanks I will reflash the firmware. If all else fails I will get another flight controller at least for now. Perhaps a KK would be better for a first time build.
