I have just published my new application , called “Yet Another Reminder”, on the Google Play store. The application let you set location based reminders and timed reminders. 

 

Some examples of location based reminders : 

 

1.Wake you up when you reach your bus stop or train station in case you fall asleep on you way back home from work (or if you are too engrossed in your book ;) ). 

2.Reminder to collect cash from the ATM when you walk or drive past it.

3.Reminder to take your umbrella or coat when you leave the restaurant. 

4.Reminder to take important documents when you leave for a meeting.   

5.Remind me to take out the trash or do the dishes when I get back home.

 

When the reminder goes off, you can either dismiss the reminder ,snooze it for 5 mins or snooze it for 50 meters(approximately 165 feet). When the users snoozes the reminder for 50 meters , the reminder goes off again after the user has moved 50 meter.

 

When you set a Location reminder to go off when you arrive at a location , the reminder will go off when you are within 100 meters( approximately 330 feet) of the set location.; And when you set the reminder to go off  on departure of a set location , it goes off when you move 25 meters ( approximately 80 feet) from the set location. 

 

Pro tip : if you want to test the location reminder , set a test reminder to go off when you arrive at your current location. The reminder should go off immediately.
