Changelog 0.5.0:

After weeks of hard work we have released an update to our beta testers. This update primarily focuses on improving the usability of the Drvr app. We have added a section describing driving events and the audio alerts you will hear. We have also fixed bugs reported by our awesome group of beta testers and improved overall app performance.

Read on for the complete change log.

1. Fixed an issue that caused the app to crash on devices running  Android L preview.

2. Hitting the back button on the home screen will now exit the app.

3. UI improvements to the Drive list and Drive Result screen.(Please let us know on Facebook/Google+ if you have any feedback.)

4. Added the share button to the Drive Result screen.(Be sure to mention @drvr on Facebook or +drvr on Google+ when you share your drives on social media)

5.Added About section to the Home screen menu.

6. Added Help section to the Home screen menu.

7.Fixed the Car Location reminder.

8. Bug fixes and performance improvements across the app.

Special thanks to everyone who reported bugs or sent us feedback on the app.

Known issue:

The app is taking too much space on your devices storage. We are working on a fix that will let drivers sync drive data between their devices and our server. A temporary solution would be to use the Export Drive button to save your drive on a .csv file to backup your drives and then clear apps data. You will need to re-enter your username and password if you clear app data.

Upcoming features:

1. Gamification elements: Driver scores, social/public leaderboards and achievements.

2. Improvements to our driving events detection algorithms.

3. Automatically start collecting data when  driving is detected (Currently the app  automatically stops collecting data when a drive end is detected.)

Once again a huge thank you to everyone who gave us feedback (via email or social media).
