DD-WRT supported router

As it is stated on dd-wrt's page it is recommended more that 8 MB of flash

And I don't need USB support on router.

And perhaps in the future I'll replace antenas with stronger ones.

All other it depends on software.

 

So the (low) price is big factor.

i have an rt-n16! its beautiful. DDWRT is incredibly stable on it. It runs the mega build of ddwrt :]. They go for like 80 bucks now (crazy that the value has held like that for 3 years!). The rt-n16 is great, and has a good bit of memory (for three years ago, idk what "a lot of memory" means for routers these days), but its missing a few things. It only supports 2.4ghz, which is a bummer if you have 5ghz cards in your devices. It also only supports N. If i were paying $80 for a router nowadays, id want AC and 5ghz. Asus has some newer routers that support DDWRT, look at those.
