G+_Eddie Hughes
I know you mentioned a few sites on where to find 3D printer prints(?), I just received my Da Vinci Jr today and was wondering if there were more sites out there that had projects to print? And, would it be possible to use photoshop to make your own 3D prints? :)

G+_Eddie Foy
Thingiverse is probably the main place. Sign up for GabCAD.com. Its a CAD file sharing site. Now a LOT of the files there are SolidWorks, and even a converter program needs to be licensed from them (SolidWorks folks). But there are a lot of other formats offered. The ACIS, IGES, DXF, DWG, etc are typically open for conversion. STLs really suck for editing with a cad program (I use Shark FX,and like it a lot) SCAD people rave about, but I found it to be archaic. (open source and free doesn't = good) But to each their own. On the CAD/Design end of things..... Google's (well they sold it I hear) SketchUp! is a freemium product, and AutoCAD's Inventor I think is also free.
