G+_Eddie Hughes
Hey all! I am using an apm 2.6 flight controller for my 450 build and just broke my 3rd GPS, (hard landing). My question is, does GPS alway break this easy or am I way to hard on them? I am fed up with them and disabled it in my FC so I can at least fly...any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. :) Ed Hughes
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
How are the GPS units breaking?
G+_Eddie Hughes
The first one broke when my quad flipped over when I had the motors hooked up incorrectly, the second one was the crash video I posted and you used on the show, the last one was when I landed and the quad flipped on its top. G+_Eddie Hughes
I had 2 of those, although I had it screwed tight but the stick isn't breaking...seems like when it is jarred it stops working.
G+_Eddie Hughes
I do use a mobius camera with my Fatshark teleporter v3 system, I've actually never considered it giving off any interference like that. Quick but stupid question, if I wrap the camera and fatshark wires up in foil would that help reduce the noise? I have the fatshark tx wired on the back end of the quad and the GPS was wired to the front right arm.
