G+_Marcus Dooley
Hey all, I am having a bit of a problem finding some information. What I am looking for is a way to connect my baha (bone anchored hearing aid) and a bluetooth earpiece to my PC in stereo. The hearing aid is bluetooth and I can connect both at the same time (my USB adapter is 4.0). I just can't figure out how to get the right channel to my hearing aid and left to the earpiece. Any help please. Thanks Marc
G+_Jason Marsh
On Windows, you can right-click the volume icon in the notification area, click "Open Volume Mixer", click the output device(s) you want to fiddle with, and set the volume and balance for each device separately. It sounds good as a theory, but may fall on it's face in practice. It's been 10 years or more since I had occasion to run audio out to multiple devices, and even then I wasn't splitting channels. There is a lady who participates on either a TWiT.tv or HomeServerShow podcast who has practical experience with accessibility and dealing with computer solutions for vision- and hearing-impaired folks, but for the life of me I can't recall her name. :(
G+_Jason Marsh
Also, if your add-on or internal playback devices have software for managing them, such as Realtek Audio Manager, you may be able to set it up as a profile that can be switched on as needed. Again, YMMV :)
