G+_Bill Boling
I still can not find this weeks posting for the so here is the link for the vote on All About Android 317: App CSI http://bit.ly/aaapoll317
G+_Beny Spensieri, Jr.
Considering how Jason was concerned that the previous poll was not reaching enough people and blaming it on Google+, they don't even promote this poll at all! I don't see many polls getting over 200 votes, where last year they were usually getting 300-400.
G+_Michael Keepper
The poll is on their website for All About Android on the Twit.tv website, but they keep forgetting to post to Google+ https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfEJFLgPYt075NM24ul5MhnBEG4JqYDnq8h150vl8OwxB9TqQ/viewform
G+_Jason Howell (raygun01)
Yeah it's true. The polls aren't clocking in any more and usually less than they were when they were hosted exclusively on Google+. We tried this other method thinking it opened it up for people who weren't on G+ but in action, it seems like having the polls in a separate place means less G+ votes happen too (not to mention, because the poll isn't facilitated at the start within G+, I end up forgetting to post it here after the show is done.) So yeah, I totally take the blame for not posting it here quickly... And I think it deserves us looking at it again almost six months in to see if G+ is the better place after all, or is there a better all-inclusive way. Cause at the end of the day, that's the most important thing to me. G+ is great for hosting the poll, but we have listeners and viewers that aren't here and feel excluded from the poll when it requires a G+ acct. I don't know how to make everyone happy. G+_Michael Keepper
Jason Howell is there not a way to use the Google Docs Poll without having to log in? I do believe the regular Google + polling got good participation. Do you really want to go back to the Straw Poll?
G+_Beny Spensieri, Jr.
Jason Howell I don't think you need to switch back to G+ polls, but there has to be a tool that will publish the poll across multiple platforms G+/Facebook/Twitter/etc. for you at once. G+_Paul Werner
I think Friends+Me is what you're looking for Jason Howell?. That'll post the poll to all the social networks at once. friendsplus.me - Friends+Me - Share to ANYWHERE. Because sharing is caring.
G+_Michael Keepper
Another thought is getting SurveyMonkey as a sponsor and hosting the Arena Poll. Could regulate the voting process quite well!
G+_Tony S
Thanks to Bill for sending the link. My co-workers and I were loyal followers of the show for years but since the addition of Flo we just can't put up with the Valley Girl voice and all the "like"'s she uses. I am sure a professional writer does not use that many "like" 's in her writing so why must the listeners have to put up with it? Thanks again but Flo makes the All About Android Show a NO GO for me. Like, have like a good like day.
