G+_Zoom Cool
I have a LG G3. Should I upgrade? To which phone?

G+_Andrew Carvalho
I'm also hanging onto my LG G3. I plan to upgrade soon - not because I have to because it's still serving me well. I've actually been looking at both the phones you mention as worthy upgrades each with their own pros and cons. However, in this price range I would instead recommend a Nexus 6P - on sale -$100 US right now in the Play Store. Of course - if you can - like me wait for the new Nexi to be released and see how those turn out. The OPO and Axon 7 will still be there and you'll have no buyers remorse. I say stick with the G3 - still a fine phone for the most part. If you're bored maybe try rooting and throwing a fresh ROM on there.
G+_Zoom Cool
Thanks. Yea, G3 still works well. I got a cracked screen on it so that why i am looking for a new phone. Regardless, I am going to wait for the new Nexus but I have a feeling the Nexus would be out of my price range.
G+_Joe Morrison
Zoom Cool Cracked screen changes the equation a little bit, I think I would either replace the screen or looks at a 5x or 6p instead of waiting for the new hotness. The money saved can go towards a bunch of other fun stuff instead.
G+_Andrew Carvalho
Ok, yeah if you can wait just to see what they have, but - I think the Axon 7 beats OP3 on hardware specs, but the OP3 wins on the software side. If you could root the Axon 7 and if it's supported it's got great specs especially if audio is important to you (and camera not so much). I'd give the 6P a serious look as well. G+_Eric Philbrook
Wait for new nexus, then get 6p
G+_Zoom Cool
I like the 6P other than that it's too big for me. :(
G+_Andrew Carvalho
http://www.phonearena.com/phones/size#/phones/size/Google-Nexus-6P,ZTE-Axon-7,OnePlus-3/phones/9587,10068,10017 The 6P is taller on only slightly wider than what you are looking at. Height is important, but imo width is the biggest factor. I'd say look at the 5X, but I've not heard anything too positive about it.
G+_Zoom Cool
Thanks for the input. I like the construction on OP3 over the 6p as well. I'll wait for the new Nexus and hope price isn't too high.
G+_Eric Philbrook
My wife has the 5x and she loves it, I have the OP1 and I think the 5x is way better and faster
G+_Zoom Cool
Eric Philbrook how's the battery on the 5x? I had a Nexus 5 before. Love the phone but battery my biggest complain.
G+_Eric Philbrook
I had the nexus 4 and 5 and battery was only real complaint , the 5x is much much better easliy lasts a day with normal usage and when you do a lot it charges so fast that it has not been a problem at all .
