G+_George Kozi
This is what context does. It's a perfectly straight, and straightforward individual motion, and yet, we see a complex rotation. The graceful dance is only revealed when we see the entirety. This is not about dots, it is about everything. This is the point where people polarize. Some say that it is all about the straight up and down motion of the dot. That's alright, and it is true. Others say that it is about the complex rotation. That is also alright, and also true. It all depends on how you look at it. And that's a know-how. But... let me tear open yet another layer: maybe none of the dots are moving... maybe it's the black marble with dots on it that does... G+_Frank Lucisano
Perception and point of view are two of the most critical yet under rated aspects of any argument. Defining the context and outcomes determine the conversation. This animation and your added context is superb :)
