LOL!!!  We have Agi-Supply near by, and they have those 'Bugs Bunny' cast iron tubs.  I always chuckle a "unga bunga binga banga bunga" as I pass then in the shop.

1 hot tub + 1 flux capacitor + 2.2 gigawatts = hot tub time machine.

I remember one of our scoutmasters having a pot with a worm like that. Set it in the fire ring with the worm in the fire and you get a hella-hot pot of water in minutes.

 

As for integrating such a hot tub into the patio, I'd put the heating coil inside that firepit in the background. If I ever was to put in a hot tub I don't know if I'd go with such a rudimentary setup, but to keep it clean you could put a cover on it and add in a pump with filtration and a UV or chemical system.
