G+_Mark Harry
I didn't want Ron to win because he wants it too much, but he deserves it, this is a great app.
G+_Pradyumn Vij
#ronthedevourer Ron Richards is pretty much how I imagine En Sabah Nur would be in the real world. He's going to find 4 horses for himself now.
G+_Joel G. J
#TeamAppJudgement Ron Richards deserves to win.

G+_matt norridge
Ron Richards not convinced by shut app - everything just opens again after you have shut it.
G+_Omega Follis
SeiresGuide is great in the age of streaming and binge watching. Sometimes its months between viewings of my shows. I could never keep track where I left off before, especially since I share all my streaming services with friends and family. G+_Marlon Thompson
Amit Schreiber I'm with you and if I didn't just want Ron to win I would have voted against him but I intend to send them a letter about the app, you should too
G+_Neil Sedlak
It's been clear for a while that task killer apps shouldn't be used. They make you feel good but only screw things up. Even Jason questioned it on the show. "Dumb apps" should be uninstalled, reported to the developer, or configured properly. ? Are people voting for bad apps just to give Ron a win? G+_Gary Conrad
I did like the pick by +Ron Richards, but I could not vote for it cause I do not think he should win the year simply because Gina's kid or someone was sick. Not fair to her or us!
G+_phochart
+SeriesGuide! Been using it for several months and great app. Little issues these days due to trakt v2 change in middle of Christmas period. But that the app to have for shows and movies tracking
G+_Karl Gaudian
2014, the year Ron Richards? threw it away. Task killers are not needed & should not be used...
G+_Jan Scott
Yeah but if Ron doesn't win he's just going to grouse about how the vote is fixed like he has been doing for the last month or so - funny when it wasn't fixed when he went so far ahead. So vote for the app you really think is the best and that's the end of it. If Ron wins he'll crow about it and not whine how he's never won a year before (pick better apps then), if he loses then expect the sour grapes. But a task killer winning? Really? G+_Marlon Thompson
ok people I think we are taking this arena thing too seriously.
G+_Jan Scott
Marlon Thompson You are probably right. And I am probably as guilty as anyone. I just love the Series app and really need to get out more. :) (But Ron does whine . . . :))
G+_Marlon Thompson
no problen Jan Scott I'll agree about his whine :) And as I mentioned I will be writing a letter asking them to ban task killer apps from the arena.
G+_Josh Frye
Umm will just have to think to myself that I don't see what others see.. aka that anyone on AAA is uber competitive with the arena results.
G+_Steve Giralt
I wanted Ron Richards? to win since Gina wasn't there.. But really? A task killer? It's obvious at this point people are just voting for his app because they want him to win. Any other arena of the year this wouldn't fly. Can we get rematch of this week? To disqualify Gina Trapani? just because she couldn't make it is pretty cold.. Especially when it was that close.
G+_Josh Frye
I have been thinking about this and Shutapp is something I would use and I can tell you the reasons why. And the biggest thing is the white listing. There are a number of places where I work that the only signal I have on my cell or any cell is wi fi. The amount of apps trying to connect through the non existent cell signal drains the crap out of my battery when this happens. To be able to make a white list of apps that I need for work and shut down the rest for a time would be great. I mean should I uninstall those apps before I go in a building or area with no cell signal and then reinstall and set them back up when I have cell signal? G+_Neil Sedlak
Josh Frye? What apps do you have that use cellular data but don't use wireless? I've never heard of that. In any case, the correct solution would be to toggle off mobile data or turn on airplane mode then re-enable Wifi.
G+_Josh Frye
I have a HTC Evo 4G LTE and if I turn on the wifi data goes through it instead of cellular, but every time I have little or no cell coverage and even if I have the wi fi on.. the battery drains because of all the running apps trying to make connections. It would not be noticeable but I can't afford to get a new phone and the battery is not replaceable. So the older the phone gets the battery drains faster while on the wi fi. Like I said, I can see use cases for something like Shutapp and I am one of them. But like any app, it would not be for everyone. In this pole for instance, I can use just about every app save "one more line" simply because I can't play all the games I already own on Android. Thank you Humble Bundle.
