Are there any Know How episodes on how to get one Arduino to pass information to a second Arduino wirelessly?

Not specifically.  However, it should be dead simple to make happen.  You just need to pick a wireless communication option that has the range needed.  IE Zibee https://www.adafruit.com/search?q=zigbee&b=1

You've also got modules for bluetooth and wifi, but they're harder to deal with on the Arduino platform.
