G+_James Coleman
Remote Buddy reminded me of this app http://code.google.com/p/telekinesis/ and it may just me a modification of it. Seems like it doesn't work with the most recent version of Mac OS, but can be easily fixed likely. http://code.google.com/p/telekinesis/
G+_James Coleman
Figured out you need to comment out "LoadModule bonjour_module /usr/libexec/apache2/mod_bonjour.so" in the httpd.2.0.conf file inside of the resource folder to get it to work... Apparently Apple removed that module recently from Apache. I could probably write a way better app for this which does not use Apache at all. And I think I may and use bootstrap as the UI so it's good looking and works on iPad/iPhone. If you wish to compile the app, just delete QSKeyCodeTranslator and add the sparkle framework. I am a hobbyist developer which mostly writes open source programs, so if I were to write this, it will be open source.

G+_James Coleman
I am trying to work with the guy who made IRKeyboardEmu to make the apple remote function work better. His extension has a few bugs which make it not work with normal apps such as XBMC. Right now its acting as the keyboard media keys until you install it. My app will work like iphone remote in that it acts as a webserver and have modules to do different things. Right now I'm writing the trackpad/keyboard emulator. I will post a beta in just a second.
