G+_Ralph Mills
Biggest question: who's going to keep Alex Gumpel in check?
G+_Robert Short
unlucky there has been no release statement even on +Fr. Robert Ballecer, Twitter but reading in on couple other comment it was more then just Bryan that was let go but not for sure
G+_Armando Perez
Yup, seems like twit is thinning the hosts. If padre leaves then what is the point of the twit network. Hope they don't bring Shannon back. Oh well.
G+_Darryl Gibbs
Thinning for financial reasons? Any chance you can point me to a press release or something?
G+_Ralph Mills
It's a shame, Bryan is a talent in front of both the camera and tri-caster. Here's wishing he gets a good position soon.
G+_Rob Yesta
Tony, Kara, Nate, and Bryan. Just a few separations. The road crew is getting light. Sure hope twit is not cutting the special road shows.
G+_Armando Perez
When any business starts cutting back its almost always to reduce costs. Maybe they're downsizing and changing direction.
G+_Rob Yesta
Still need to balance cost vs crowd favorites.
G+_Rob Yesta
Bryan is very talented. He will find something special.
G+_David Jenkins
Robert Short actually Padre did mention it in Thursday's Know How back to school episode, at the very end.
G+_Robert Short
just watched the ending says he moved on but there seams to be more as I don't know many people that leave a job on there own with out a a new job unless they are let go. I'm not saying that is what happened but after i read it a couple of days ago Bryan updated twitter and linked-in with former job but not new yet. Not sure if we will here from Padre here as it is connected with Twit and he most likely would chance getting in trouble for saying more then they want him to. G+_Armando Perez
I too just watched Padre again giving is explanation of Bryans departure. If you parse his explanation, i think none of them knew what was coming, maybe even Padre. Hmm, all this came about while Padre was gone for 2 months. G+_Rob Yesta
It would be cool to see Bryan and Padre do an independent podcast show together. I would even support it. Get the Patreon up.
G+_David Jenkins
I started watching know how because Bryan talked about it on ham nation. Know how is one of a few shows on twit that isn't 2-4 people on skype. I like that. I too wonder who is going to partner with padre, if anybody. Megan Morone filled in last time. G+_Robert Short
I agree I like know how being like a maker space type of show nothing against Nathan but it just wasn't the same they will need to have somebody that is in the maker/ hardware/ networking to make it seem to same type of show otherwise it just not sure what it would end up being and not sure what this community would end up being if the show changed especially when Padre goes on silence again
G+_Armando Perez
David Jenkins I doubt that would happen as long as Padre works for twit. Leo wouldn't allow it.
G+_Ronald Stepp
I would have figured Picard for an "isn't" man, rather than "ain't." He just always seemed so much more brainy.
G+_Ralph Mills
Rob Yesta going indy wouldn't work for "Know How" but they might be able to do a simple "on the work table" show.
G+_John Sullivan
Sorry, Picard .... Lisa already said "Make it so."
G+_Bryan Burnett
Hey all! I may be gone from TWiT but no way am I ditching this awesome community! Stay tuned, Padre and I are planning on doing some of our own stuff, in the meantime, I'm just enjoying having some time off and spending it with Tibs (the corgi). Thanks for all the support you all have provided me and the show these few years. I'm looking forward to letting you all know what I'm up to when I can. G+_Ralph Mills
Bryan Burnett Many thanks for all you've accomplished at TWiT. Glad you are not abandoning us Know-it-all's. I know that the community wishes you the best and hopes you find a position worthy of you. As for my true feelings I'll just leave this post with two thoughts: 1) "If you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all" 2) "One picture is worth a thousand words" The gif is from one of my favorite parody animes "Daily Lives of High School Boys" or "Danshi K?k?sei no Nichij?" G+_Rob Yesta
Bryan Burnett I will continue to enjoy your awesome pictures of the California countryside and racing. And more Tibs or his own show.
G+_Scott Remick
I'm not sure any employee cut at TWiT over the years has upset me as much as them letting Bryan go. Not pleased at all.
G+_Sean Eno
I literally just found out about this today! I figured he was just on vacation. Did I miss an announcement or a goodbye on the episodes? Bryan Burnett? you will be missed as you were one of the best hosts on twit. I truely hope you find something you love and I really hope it's in the diy Tech scene.
