G+_Steve C
I got an X5C at Frys on sale for $49. If you don't mind spending a little more and want one with GPS and everything they have the Microgear QuadGPS CX20 on sale for $299.
G+_Tom Nardi
Are you using Mode 1 or 2? If you have issues with your right hand, I'd think Mode 1 would be a little easier to use.
G+_Terry Henderson
I Think So Too, But It's Hard To Find Mode 1 Transmitters, Seems To Be Australia & New Zealand, Only.
G+_Wayne Black
Supposedly, the mode can be changed on the Syma X5 by holding the trim button below the right stick to the right and turning the transmitter on. Since the quads are so similar, I can't help but wonder if it can be done with the Swann also? I tried it, but the throttle still is on the left stick. It just switches the Yaw and Roll. Maybe with some fiddling around inside the tx you could switch the throttle to the right.
