I think i just had a good idea while rebuilding the murderquad (it broke an arm) Reflective tape on the arms to see orientation during the day. Anyone ever tried that?

Actually, that's a great idea. I mean, Wayne's right, and the technique in that video has saved my bacon too, but if the tape reduces the time to re-orient by a second or two that could make a big difference.

Also these, although you'd have to cut them to fit. I can see printing a solid leg and putting a cut out reflector into it facing "front".

Brian, I had your idea in my mind yesterday - I was flying early in the day with the sun at my back when I realized I could see the white sticker on the front of my möbius camera even at a large distance. That interested me enough to buy some 1/4" wide prismatic tape. I'll report back when I've mounted it.

Or just wrap the landing gear in reflective tape fir extra strength too?
