G+_Brian Festa
The murderquad broke a leg. So I am breaking out the back up frame. It's another FPV260. I used a mounting adapter my friend made me for the dragonfly32 pro as a template and mounted it on damping balls and nuking washers. Right now it's screw into the frame but I am going to change this to bolt through. #workinprogress

G+_Brian Festa
It had to pay for its crimes! It was becoming self aware also. It was not safe anymore :)
G+_Michael Heinz
Nice idea; just FYI, though, with the 260 I found it worked a lot better to mount the ESCs to the bottoms of arms. Haven't noticed any heat issues.
G+_Brian Festa
Yeah I was going back an forth with escs on bottom. I have high intensity leds coming in a few colors and will be putting those in the bottom to help with orientation and so I can start night flying ? G+_Michael Heinz
Yup - that's a good reason.
G+_Michael Heinz
BTW - I haven't found replacement legs for the 260 frame, but legs from the 250 fit if you wrap a bit of electrical tape around the pegs to make them a mil thicker.
