G+_richard andresen
Know How's I got a few knock off arduino's on ebay, they are "UNO R3 ATmega328P CH340 Micro USB Board for Compatible-Arduino" try as I may I can't get any computer to recognize the usb device. I've tried it on my mac, an XP machine and a windows 10. None of them will talk to it. I also downloaded a driver for the CH340 chip. still no go. any Idea as to where I can get a driver for mac or windows that is know to work. any other tips for this arduino are also welcomed. I'm also not completely sure what to pick for board, processor and programmer.
G+_Brian Goossen
I just started playing with the Arduino this last weekend... So not an expert at all. However, my Arduino didn't load like a USB device on my Mac. Only the Arduino IDE could see it and that was after I selected the port. Good luck. G+_richard andresen
Thanks Wayne. it is up and running on my MAC. Brian was also correct in that once I added the driver I saw nothing on the mac, but when I opened the app there was an extra driver listed. I picked that and Bingo, where up and running. Thanks!
