I wanted to comment about the episode, specifically about the Pixelbook (Chromebook) as a Windows replacement. I have both the Surface Book 2 and Pixelbook. I retired my laggy Samsung Tab S3 in favor of the Pixelbook to be my "Android Tablet" because it offers the best of both worlds as a true laptop/tablet in the Google world.

That said, it is a no-brainer that my Surface Book 2 is my "all things" machine. Gaming, Video Editing, Adobe Creative Suite, Coding...those are the things I can't truly do well on the Pixelbook.

I love the keyboard, trackpad and the overall look and feel of the Pixelbook. Chrome also runs buttery smooth. The app drawer needs tons of work and needs a lot more customization options. I just feel that Chromebooks, in general, are not ready for prime time for most tech enthusiasts.

I actually ditched my Windows machine once I got my Pixelbook. I only turned it on just yesterday as I needed to something that was Windows only (LeapFrog Connect) and didn't run in Crossover. Everything else has been handled by a Chrome app, an Android app, a Windows app running in Crossover (MS Office), or a Linux app via Crostini (Gimp, MS Code, IntelliJ).
