G+_John Mink
TL-DR: Is there a program/app for a Desktop OS that can capture & play (receive, not send) a miracast stream? Full post: Been looking into Miracast as it seems to be appearing on phones, and even replacing HDMI on the Moto X (possibly others?). Miracast seems to be a layer on top of WiFi-Direct for low latency video, so yay wireless video! But everything i've found for playing Miracast seems to be "purchase our dongle". I know it needs to be a direct link (so it can't go to the display over your LAN via a WiFi Access Point) but I've already got a desktop hooked up to, well, to all the displays. Is there anyway I could use the desktop (given that I have a PCIe WiFi card that's not otherwise in use,) to display something that is being miracast??
