G+_John Mink
Sorry to double post, but this has been driving me crazy for a few YEARS meow (and apparently taking autocomplete too, that should be 'now') . We all watch podcasts here, but does ANYBODY have a solution to download video RSS onto a Linux box automatically AND place it in a desired 'podcast' folder without any reoccurring action from the user? Basically, a podcatcher that can run on a server (read linux box in my closet) & magically place the podcasts to my shared folder! Doesn't seem like it'd be hard to find, but I'm starting to suspect I'm the only person on the planet who watches podcasts on a TV/couch setup... and isn't chromecasting from their phone/tablet or using a smart TV. Thanks in advance!

G+_Robert Lane
I used to use a plugin in banshee. Now I have a bash script I wrote (poor code, but works) that sits on my home server.
G+_John Mink
Yeah, writing a script seems to be the option...but I feel like I can't possibly be the first one to do this. There must be something out there already, no? I mean, is this feature/request that obscure? Robert Lane I hear ya on the "poor code" thing, I assure you mine won't be any better!
