G+_Sailorlion
Raindar is a wonderful weather app. This app is very easy to use and set up. I use this app on my N7 and my Google TV device.
G+_Jan Scott
Damn it, two of the apps don't work here in the UK. So wanted to try out the Urban Engine one and Raindar. May be voting for an app I can't use just because it looks so good. I'll watch tonight and decide on the presentations. And Ron Richards thanks for the public transit apps. G+_Marlon Thompson
Its too early to call it the year of the Jason but if I was Ron Richards I would be a little scared of not catching up. Jason seems to be on fire.
G+_joseph
All about Myrian was okay I guess this week, but when is all about android coming back??
G+_Vance McAlister
I must say (regarding the show in general) that my experience with Google Wallet is entirely different than Myriam Joire 's and Jason Howell 's. I pull out my phone, turn it on and put it by the terminal, DING every time. With Apple Pay, you have to take out your phone, press the button, put it by the terminal and it works. Seems like the same friction level to me. I never have to enter a PIN, it never fails, it just works. I am not seeing how, as a technology, Apply Pay got it more "right" than Wallet. Also, how can it be said that people are using Apple Pay and not using Google Wallet when the actual numbers seem to say just the opposite, that there were twice as many Google Wallet transactions last year than Apple Pay transactions. G+_Steve Smith
I have a guess for the Wallet announcement. I am hoping that Google will finally make the physical Wallet Card useful by letting me charge any Wallet account credit cardson demand rather than debiting from a pre-established Wallet Balance that you pre-fund from a bank account. (And of course allow me to change which credit card to use on the Wallet App.)
G+_Winston S.
Some good apps this week. Will be tough to choose.
G+_Duncan Jaffrey
Jasons on a winning streak, opps jinks :(
G+_Adnohr Mercs
Jason please do not make Miriam Joire a permanent host of All About Android. She is not a good fit on that show.
G+_Jan Scott
Even though I cannot get it I love the concept of Ron's app so much that's my vote. Another cracking selection from Ron, the friend of the public transport user.
G+_Jan Scott
Jason, will you please tell Myriam to SHUT UP when others are presented their apps? Thank you.
G+_Giuseppe Cimo'
I'd love to use SoundHUD ...BUT, as many other apps that rely on accessibility services, it breaks the screen lock at boot on encrypted phones :( Is there any workaround? G+_Winston S.
I also experienced this with ShutApp as well as SoundHUD what does this actually mean? Does that mean the data on our device is no longer encrypted if we enable it?
G+_Kirk Corless
My vote was for Urban Engines, I would love to see it expand to other cities say in my area of NJ.
G+_Andrew Carvalho
All I've heard on all my Android podcasts is people lucky enough to have 5.0 complain about the new volume setup. Have to vote for this for solving what seems to be a major flaw (for some) in the latest Android version.
G+_P Yasuda
Just installed Raindar. Should be a good adjunct to Arcus. Wunderground is my favorite weather site.
G+_Tory Harmon
SoundHUD is great for stock(ish) users, but this functionality is already included in cm12 and other roms.
G+_James Hammond
I've had to come in here and change my vote, I've found Next Lock Screen to be a battery hog on the Nexus 4 running Lollipop
G+_Jeffrey Heesch
Loving SoundHUD. I've been wanting exactly this for a long time. It's such a no-brainer that should have been baked directly into Lollipop.
G+_Tim Feeley
I hate the way my Nexus 6 handles volume control
G+_Pradyumn Vij
Strange selection this week for me, I will have to abstain as Urban Engines isn't available in my city, I wouldn't have voted for Raindar, SoundHUD is how HTC Sense already handles volume and the HTC Sense screen allows me to do everything listed in the Next Lock Screen except for adding apps. I'm betting that Next Lock Screen or SoundHUD will win for the non Sense users.
G+_James Coleman
SoundHUB Allows you to force media volume all the time!!! Epic win. I have been looking for this forever! CM11 had it, but CM12 does not.
G+_Rob Phelps
Myriam Joire?, regarding not being able to change to priority while playing Google music... You can if you have an android wear device; enable on you watch verses your phone. SoundHUD has my vote (and download) til Google changes it.
