G+_Benjamin Webb
Big fan of Freenas. With these new features still looking at my old jails wondering what to do but for a first time build this is a no brainer. http://www.freenas.org/blog/introducing-freenas-corral-worlds-first-open-source-hyper-converged-storage-platform/ http://www.freenas.org/blog/introducing-freenas-corral-worlds-first-open-source-hyper-converged-storage-platform/

G+_Benjamin Webb
Maybe, it is a huge step forward with docker under a Linux vm in terms of the amount of software now compatible. The down side is all my BSD jails have no migration path. I have a mythTV set up I compiled from source and have sever days of labor into. Also VMs are fundamentally less efficient so may need more ram and cpu. Pretty much on the edge with 16 gig ram and a haswell Pentium.
