G+_Mr ROKnBOK
Hi all. I've just built the kh250 and am using the flysky fs-t6 for a transmitter. It is so much fun! Question: how can I set up a fail safe for when the transmitter disconnects from the copter? I seem to recall Father Robert talking about how he programmed his to do lazy left-hand turns upon losing signal, but I don't recall hearing how that was accomplished. Any help is appreciated. G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Sadly, the failsafe was with my Tarranis X9d and X8r receiver. Peace, Padre
G+_Travis Hershberger
What controller do you have for the quad? That's going to determine what options (if any) you have for a fail safe. I went for the added cost/weight of a GPS receiver. The return to home option that makes available is nice.
G+_Mr ROKnBOK
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ Thank you. I'll keep those in mind if I get a new transmitter.
G+_Mr ROKnBOK
Travis Hershberger I'm using the Flip 1.5 from rtfquads. Sorry, I meant to put that in my initial post (derp!).
G+_Mr ROKnBOK
Wayne Hobbins THANK YOU. I'll look into that; it may be my <$10 solution.
G+_Mr ROKnBOK
Carson Black I'll look at doing that. Thank you. I'm familiar (but just) with multiwii, and I've recently looked at arduino code for the first time, so I'm confident I'll be able to limp through programming the failsafe (with help from the wiki). At least if I get stuck I'll have the fine minds in this group to ask for help. Thanks again!
