G+_Mr ROKnBOK
What's a good alternative to RTFQuads? I've ordered from them about 5 times and while the process for the first couple of orders can best be described as "slow going", my most recent order had been "processing" for about a month. Last week I sent RTFQuads an email (no response), and today I sent them a message via PayPal's "file a dispute" option (waiting a couple days for a response). I then started researching RTFQuads/WiteSpy; the results are not good..... The BBB gives them a rating of "F" due to non-responsiveness to customer queries. The address for RTFQuads points to an apartment complex. Their phone number has a number of "scam call" complaints tied to it. So now I'm hoping to find a good, domestic alternative to ordering quadcopter parts from RTFQuads. I've had success with HobbyKing, but sometimes their parts are coming from the UK, resulting in long wait times and higher-than-wanted shipping costs. Thanks for your suggestions. G+_Rob Yesta
My March 2 order is still not here. I never had issue until this order. RTFQs processed order and I received in a week until now. I did get some parts ESC and motors from Banggood US warehouse and HobbyKing US warehouse mainly for my batteries. Banggood China is slow but pay the extra couple bucks for faster shipping 5-8 (processing I thing)and it will be around two-three week average. G+_Rob Yesta
I do buy off eBay and may pay a little more from US shipping hobby shops like HobbyPower and others. I don't buy eBay from China shipping when you can go directly to a safe site directly
G+_Brian “Yikesfpv” Gipe
Yeah. I use a lot of the aforementioned places: Amazon, Ebay is good for cheap parts, banggood, getfpv.com, hobbyking, rtfquads. Kinda have to search around.
G+_Mr ROKnBOK
Thanks for all the suggestions, y'all. I'll be looking at using these vendors (especially Amazon) in the future.
G+_DTJ W315
I use amazon for my carbon props and my batteries. I've also bought a few ancillaries on there - like the anti vibration mount for a flight controller. Things like wire, connectors, shrink tubing...all those little odds and sods, I've bought from e-bay 'cause you can get them in bulk pretty cheap. I've used RTFQ a few times for my kk flight controller and ESCs and, honestly, I've been lucky and never had an issue - quick processing and delivery. But I have increasingly been hearing bad things about them and people seem to be having issues of late, so maybe something changed.

G+_Roy Gangle
I never had real problems from rtf. I Like the Syma and I buy from Amazon strictly. Always satisfaction.
G+_Mr ROKnBOK
Thanks, Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ for answering this question on-air. I though you might like an UPDATE...... After cancelling the order I'd been waiting on I decided to try another order (with fewer items, in case one of the many items from the previous, now cancelled, order was holding up progress). A week after placing the new order I had received my parts. I appreciate your desire to promote the "little guy" -- I like to as well. Shipment delays from RTFQ are bearable; unanswered e-mail queries are much less so. I will continue to order from RTFQ, with both lowered expectations AND an arsenal of alternative suppliers (thanks to the group!).
