G+_Keith Mallett
Hey KH Community! I need to obtain/make a timer unit. It needs to run for up to 300 second and be able to repeat the every 30 or 60 mins. No trigger, once power is applied it needs to start the on/off cycle and the relay should be able to handle up 110v/10 amps. Here is what I found. Anyone got any other ideas? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/232013288409?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.ca/itm/232013288409?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
G+_David Wiggins
That looks like a really neat module. What particular use do you have in mind? The variable time is what intrigued me.
G+_Ben Reese
Yeah, that looks like it should do exactly what you're looking for - unless it closes as soon as power is applied.
G+_Keith Mallett
Hey David Wiggins and Ben Reese thanks for the replies. This particular application is for an indoor turtle pond. I commandeered a washing machine pump as it is very high volume but has a low duty cycle. I need it to pump at least once an hour (maybe twice) for not more than 5 mins. This will provide a large volume of water transfer to the filtration system but not overwork the pump. I ordered two today to see if they will do.
