G+_Jogi Vyas
Hi Robert, I watch your KH episode # 146 where you build USB using M-SATA card and enclosure. I got the same enclosure but got this (Kingston Digital 60GB SSDNow mS200 mSATA (6Gbps) Solid State Drive for Notebooks Tablets and Ultrabooks SMS200S3/60GM-SATA from Amazone instead) card to save money. I assembled the parts but when I connect it to a Windows 8.1 machine, it just installs usb driver and nothing else happens. Little tiny blue light on the enclosure comes on, but that's all. Windows OS doesn't open the folder for the drive it generally does when you insert any other usb drive. Am I doing anything wrong here? Thank you and your co-host for what you do!! G+_D Funk
I got the same enclosure and I had trouble getting my computer to recognize the drive because the usb cable was defective. Once I switched the cable to one I had on hand, I was able to setup the partition and format the drive.

G+_D Funk
I used the Disk Management tool in the Computer Management program (Windows) to initialize and format the drive. Good Luck!

G+_D Funk
Great. I had the same problem but then I realized it is really a hard drive not a flash drive.
