G+_Alain Lafond
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr..... I use a VPN, because I'm travelling a lot. And very often Google send me this notice that a connection was blocked because of suspected connection...l I have many accounts, including another Gmail. But this one is the victim of this "firewall". I looked on Google but seem that I have to tweak my VPN. Then why my other account ain't affected. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... G+_Steve C
Maybe try a different VPN like CyberGhost?
G+_Alain Lafond
I use VPN Unlimited. A paid VPN.... Maybe it's because 2 factor in not done in this account. Because I have 2 Gmail account and I have this problem only in one account... I just checked 2 factor autantification is enable. BUT! As I use Microsoft's mail program, I believe that I had to deactivate check for suspicious apps (as for sure Outlook mail is suspicious... lol) I'll send this comment, enable VPN and recheck email... G+_Marty Ballard
Alain Lafond I roll my own, using OpenVPN on a Raspberry Pi sitting under a dresser in my house. Have you considered something like this? $35 and no fees.

G+_Alain Lafond
Wayne Hobbins Thanks for your help. I did 2 steps with the infos that you sended. I'm only angry about the fact that we have to do all those things for a little security that most of us don't want.
G+_Marty Ballard
Alain Lafond I usually run Raspbian on my Pi's, but I've not been successful getting OpenVPN to work. So on the Pi that I have for my OpenVPN I run Ubuntu Mate, follow this link to get that running: https://ubuntu-mate.org/raspberry-pi/ Next you'll want to install OpenVPN on the Pi, there's a great guide on the next link to get that up and running: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-an-openvpn-server-on-ubuntu-14-04 I have my Raspberry Pi all setup and going, I have accessed it via my laptop and phone, so make sure you create a set of keys for any device that you may want to access with. This is not hard to do, but it does take a little bit of patience.
