G+_Mr Bill
So with my new quad, fully decked out with a shiny (okay matte finished) mobius action cam... I'm finding myself with more video footage than I've ever had to deal with in the past. I'm struggling to find half-way decent video editing software for windows that isn't outrageously expensive. I don't mind spending a little, but not $hundreds. Feature Requirements: 1) split/cut - essentially creating 'highlight' reels instead of boring someone with 15 minutes of footage where very little happens. 2) simple transitions. 3) audio track replacement / volume modification. 4) accepts mobius MOV files (preferably natively without a lengthy transcode). 5) optional: Adding titles/text Any ideas? G+_David Keeler
I have a copy of Roxio Creator (2010) that works for me and allows me to put a swankey "Airwolf" music theme to my flights!
G+_The Grimm Perspective -
Cannot speak from experience but a quick look on Amazon came up with a couple of versions of Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum (11 or 12)? Might be something for you to review? Let us know your results either way.
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Great topic! I use Adobe Premiere, but I know that's a little expensive for most hobbyists. -- There isn't a great Linux-based NLE that I can suggest (it's the reason why none of my primary workstations use Linux) Maybe the Cyberlink Powerdirector? G+_Donald Burr
I've heard good things about Adobe Premiere Elements. Basically most of the features of Premiere, but at a more consumer-friendly price.
