G+_Brian “Yikesfpv” Gipe
Hey guys! Ok my camera connector is different from the one on the show. I know I need to connect the black/red jst to the 12V pads on the PDB. What do I need to connect the camera cables to?

G+_Rob Yesta
That looks like 5V camera. You need to connect red on camera to +5V and black to ground on PDB. The yellow is video on camera and connects to yellow on transmitter. You need to double check if the transmitter output if 5V to the black plug, if not you can't power camera from transmitter using black connector. The white wire on camera is sound which you don't need with this transmitter. Looks like you cutting off the connector on camera and black connector on transmitter to splice wires.? G+_Rob Yesta
The specifications sheet sheet say the transmitter provides 5v power to camera. Also the transmitter has built in mic no need for camera mic. https://www.multirotorsuperstore.com/fx799t-5-8-ghz-40-channel-200mw-race-transmitter.html Camera red, black, and yellow wire connects to red, brown and yellow wire on black plug from transmitter. I would use multimeter to confirm 5V from transmitter since anything over 5v will burnout camera.
G+_Brian “Yikesfpv” Gipe
OK. I see. So the mic and the white wire are basically useless to me. Guess I'll cut them off but that baby mic might be useful in other builds.
G+_Brian “Yikesfpv” Gipe
Thanks, Rob Yesta ! And I'll test the 5v lead before connecting.
