Hi there, Loyal listener here. Thank you for such great content. I was wondering if you or anyone heard anything about the issue with Google "breaking" the Nexus 7 devices with their latest OTA update and then doing absolutely nothing about it...even removing the device from the play store steering us towards purchasing a Nexus 9 at a higher price point? I absolutely loved my N7 and now it is useless to me since the update. Spoke to Google and they couldn't even help fix it. They said the problem is only with the N7, not the N9. Asus can't help since it is out of warranty and neither will Google since it was purchased at Staples. Doesn't seem fair since as I said, They broke it with their update. Searched the forums and this seems to be happening an awful lot to many many people, so I feel Google should be held accountable.

Love to hear you thoughts. Thanks again for a great show.

Same here. Nexus 7 bricked when it automatically installed an update one night. I can't even get it to flash the factory image. Tonight my Nexus 9 seems to have done the same thing. I'm trying a factory reset, but I'm not holding my breath. It's crazy seeing so many reports of nexus devices dying like this. I don't know what they did, but someone in QA really blew it.

Holly M. Paddock That happened one time to me on my Nexus 7 - I basically had to re-install the factory image with fastboot. I lost all my data but I wonder if there may have been a way to keep my data - probably not but if I knew then what I know now I would have tried it.
