G+_Robert Blois
I find myself stuck in an existential quandry of loathing and self doubt. Over a cell phone. I clearly need to reevaluate in life. Regardless, I really want a Nexus 6 but it's almost $300 off contract here in Canada. I don't want to let that much. The Nexus 5, on the other hand, is $0. Someone convince me that the Nexus 5 is just as good a choice, if not better.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
I can only lend you my personal choice. My N5 cracked a while ago. I waited, and waited, but then I caved and decided to replace my phone. I opted to go with the N5 again ($200 used on eBay). It's still a great phone. What you get for with the N6: * A larger display (but this was a con for me) * A higher resolution display * Always listening mic/sensors (Okay Google when the device is off, and move device to wake ActiveDisplay) * Faster CPU/GPU (this helps with some of the newer apps/APIs)
G+_Michael Abernathy
Had a 6...sold it within a month. Went back to 5. Got a OnePlus One. Use it when I need all day battery life or low light pictures. My 5 is better at work than oneplus for cell signal. OnePlus is having daily sales currently so that could be an option over 5. Bigger screen. Better camera. Way better battery. More RAM. Just as customizable. By the way, how is the 6 $300 OFF contract and the 5 $0? I'm presuming you meant ON. Or else I'd just take a free phone and sell it ;-)
