G+_Bill (CryptoMoore)
So I have been a quad-building-crazyman (building 4 different sizes) and I came across a question related to batteries/UBEC etc.. The basic question is on the battery. On the battery there is the normal connector xt (or something) that goes to the power distribution board (or whatever) but there is also another connector (white) that is used when charging. I was wondering if I could use this to essentially connect to a battery adapter board similar to the link from hobby king #quadcopter (http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__50490__Adapter_board_for_2S_6S_Lipoly_Batteries_with_JST_XH_Balance_Plugs.html) and use this to power up other things like leds/camera/gimbal/etc... http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__50490__Adapter_board_for_2S_6S_Lipoly_Batteries_with_JST_XH_Balance_Plugs.html
G+_Brandon Jasper
Technically, yes, but don't as you'll be drawing from individual cells and pull the pack out of balance. If one cell is low and you drain the pack above the limit that single low cell can go below and become damaged. There are plenty of 5v and 12v out connections on most boards to satisfy builds.
