G+_Bill (CryptoMoore)
So I have a question for the group... ("Warning Multi-rotor related")... Anyhow I have built about 9 quads of various sizes and love messing around building/tweaking etc... This is partially due to being stuck inside here in the midwest in the winter.... My question is during my builds I have constantly found myself searching for a good place (or places) to buy reliable materials that are needed in the building process. I am not talking about the FC/ESC's/Frames etc.. rather I am referring to the misc "stuff" we need when building. Typically these types of things I like to buy in bulk (and possibly from China to get best deal if time is not an issue).. - Bullet connectors (2.5; 3.5 etc.. ) - Heat Shrink (all sizes to cover ESC's/misc Boards etc.) - Silicone wire (16-24 awg) - Button Screws (M3-M4...) - Cap Screws (M3-M4...) - Misc electronics (capacitors, header boards (straight/90)) - Nylon standoff/mounts for FC/GPS etc.. - Connectors (Dupont/JST etc..) Maybe my quest is crazy and I suspect there is not "one" place but I would like to create a "short-list" of these types of things and have them be reliable.. Let me know thoughts/suggestions. #quadcopter
G+_Robert Beaubien
Most of those can be purchased through eBay from Chinese sellers. Takes 2-3 weeks or longer to get them, but you can get them pretty cheap. If you need M3 screws (button head), I may have what you need. I have been selling spacer kits for quads on ebay complete with hardware so I have a collection of stuff.
